Why blacklist a domain name?

It can happen that you no longer wish to send your emailing campaigns to all the contacts of a particular company. There are several reasons for this, for example:

  • One of the recipient companies has made recurring complaints and no longer wishes to receive emails from you: do not take a risk by manually blacklisting each contact in that company. Blacklist the domain of this company to be sure that no email will reach them.
  • Competitive intelligence: you have noticed that several contacts from the same competing company have subscribed to your mailing list in order to stay informed of your offers and promotions and you do not want them to be. You can blacklist this company so that they no longer receive your emails.
  • Company having changed its domain name: one of your client companies has changed its name and domain name at the same time. You no longer wish to send your newsletters to their old addresses so as not to waste credits. Blacklist the old domain name to avoid unnecessary mailings that will go to the Bounced emails.
  • Etc ...

There are many possible reasons, but only you can decide to blacklist a domain name and stop sending to all contacts in that domain.
