Differences between a standard and a synchronized list.

When you create a contact list in Mailify, you choose between 2 types of lists.

A standard list is a list that is not automatically appended. Only a manual action on your part allows you to add, modify or delete contacts within your list. However, if a standard list is linked to a form, it will filled without manual action.

A synchronized list is a list that is dynamically appended by an external source,

  • SQL database,
  • file uploaded to an FTP server,
  • an e-commerce shop (PrestaShop, Magento...),
  • a CRM (Teamleader, SalesForce, Dynamics...),
  • a website (WordPress...)
  • or any other data synchronized by API
